Lulu Tissu

Along the way in life, you meet people who inspire you and their energy or artisitic flair get your creativity flowing. Denise Fisher is the artist behind Lulu Tissu: A company that style artisan bags, hats, brooches, scarves and clothing. I have only met her twice and on both occassions, left with excitement. Her colours, fabrics and unusual designs truly grab my attention. I can not wait to see her new range of fabrics soon. Check out http://lulutissu.blogspot.com/ . Photo of my new brooch!

Sherbet Blossom

The colours in this casting remind me of sweet soft sherbet. Pastels of green, yellow, pink, mauve and peach are blended together for fresh, feminine artistry. The process starts with paper mache, and I build up muslin, glimmer spray, handmande flowers, beading, lace and lacquer to create each casting.

Abbey Rose

Abbey Rose was born 25th June 2011, and photographed at two days old back in her tummy casting from 39 weeks gestation. The Holy Trinity inspired the mosaic poem and ends with, "The Holy Trinity may be the bond between mother, father and daughter. Forever in faith, together in life, eternal in joy"

Baby Indiana

It was truly wonderful when Alinta from Capturing life's Colour Photogrpahy, rang me for a casting. She was almost 39 weeks pregnant so her sculpture was just amazing. How blessed was I, to then receive this image. Her gorgeous baby daughter just a few days old snuggled back into the comfort of her Mummy's tummy. A goosebump moment!

Market Girl

I attended my first Expo in June 2011. Market Girl Boutique Handmade Markets. The response was fantastic from both pregnant and non pregnant clients. This made me realise I should consider torso and bust castings too.
